Draft Evaluation Criteria

banner

The GLTN has started working on developing evaluation criteria on gender-responsive land tools through two workshops (one in Lukenya, Kenya in 2007 and one in Bagamoyo, Tanzania in 2008).

Each workshop developed a unique set of criteria, though similar patterns emerge. Below are links to the criteria from these workshops as well as a merged list—based on the two—where we have started to see if they can be put together.

It is important for us to make sure that different streams of thinking are reflected in the final evaluation criteria. This means, for example, making sure that the voices of different stakeholders in terms of land such as grassroots women and organizations and land professionals (for example, land surveyors) are heard—which will see things from different perspectives. In the evaluation criteria we have so far, these different views are already seen. The evaluation criteria from Bagamoyo have a larger grassroots perspective and that from Lukenya from the experience of land professionals.

Have a look at the evaluation criteria that has come up, as it may help you think about what needs to be added or changed.
