Train ride 1- Summary - 2008/09/15 17:43 GMT Dear All

Thank you for joining me and my fellow moderators during ride 1, particular thanks to lively debate from some passengers- Most interesting, thank you

We've now come to the next station- and so it is my time to provide you with a summary of the areas you highlighted.

Last week our aim was to brain storm:

1. What do we want to know, and
2. by having this knowledge What do we need to tell and lead us forward to a sound criteria list?

I have summarised using two tables in similar formats. Both aim to capture what you think should be included in a check list to devise criteria, but

Table B outlines criteria from the case studies (Tanzania and Ethiopia) and are actually already clustered, which is the subject of our next ride starting Tuesday 16th.

At the foot of Table A, I have also included your brain storming ideas as "Cautions' - so that they are not lost in our deliberations and can continue to be on our horizon for further consideration.

THESE SUMMARY TABLES WILL BE POSTED EARLY ON TUESDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER

Do please let me know if I've misunderstood any of your reasoning, as these tables are subject to any comments you may wish to make.

Look forward to seeing your further comments during the next rides

Its been a joy to engage with you, Best wishes
