E-discussion on Security of tenure methodology: Now open!

Starring Thursday 24 November 2011, GLTN is running a four (4) weeks e-discussion on tenure security methodology. The e-discussion will end on Thursday 22 December 2011.The purpose of the moderated e-discussion is to further enrich the working paper on security of tenure methodology. The advanced draft of the working paper will be available to selected and registered participants only. The initial draft of the paper was presented at an Expert Group Meeting (EGM) in Washington, April 2011.

Four priority topics will be discussed: (1) Key terms and concepts; (2) Harmonization of indicators; costing and methodologies, (3) Security of tenure typologies and (4) Sustainability of tenure methodology and partnership.

Each topic will be up for discussion within one week. Registered Participants are encouraged to share and post their thoughts on the e-forum website (http://www.gltn.net/forum). Where practically possible, a virtual conference (e.g. webex) will be organized to finalise the discussion. The e-discussion will be a joint effort with moderators selected from various participating organizations.
