Ground rules

This is an open discussion where participants are encouraged to express and substantiate their views within the limits of the theme and the background paper. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact the moderators: Professor Stein Holden (stein.holden@umb.no) and Mr Remy Sietchiping (remy.sietchiping@unhabitat.org). Participants and contributors are encouraged to:

  • Familiarise themselves with the background document
  • Identify themselves where necessary (name, contact and organization, etc.);
  • Contribute to the weekly theme and respond to other questions and clarification from the moderators or other contributors
  • Substantiate their contributions with case studies, references, examples, documents, etc.
  • Write in English or French,
  • Be limited to three paragraphs or 500 words
  • Attach only relevant documents
  • Refrain from using insulting language or statements.
