Guidelines for speakers/presenters PDF Print E-mail

We are pleased to confirm that your paper has been accepted for presentation at the upcoming conference on Land and Property taxation to be held in Warsaw 15-16 October 2009.

Please ensure that you follow the instructions below

1. Interactive presentations and sessions
In order to stimulate discussions, engage into interactive exchange foster knowledge sharing, presenters are urged to strictly to:

Consider that shorter presentation is better
Limit the presentation to a maximum of 15 minutes or about 10 slides. This rule will be strictly enforced by the sessions Moderators or Chairs
Each presentation should ideally be structured as follows:

  • Context (1 slide*)
  • Issues/questions explored (1-2 slide)
  • Methodology/approach (1 slide)
  • Results/findings/lessons learnt (2-3 slides)
  • Policy implications (2-3 slides)
  • Way forward or recommendations (2 slides)
  • *Ensure that each slide has less than 8 lines of text

3. Upload essential information
Please upload your final paper and presentation to the Conference website (www.gltn.net) asap.
Also upload short abstract and your bios (max 200 words)

4. Your formal invitation
Your invitation will be sent only when at least your paper, bios, and personal details have been uploaded to the Conference website.

5. Dissemination
All presentations, bios and papers will be made available on the Conference website and distributed to participants.
A draft programme of presentation will be made available on the website at least 2 weeks prior to the conference
